TAX CREDIT INFORMATION FOR ADOPTION

  • IRS Adoption Information
  • There is an adoption tax credit that can be directly deducted from taxes.  It is adjusted each year based upon the cost of living allowance.  The max credit in 2012 was $12,650.  Full credit is available to taxpayers with modified adjusted gross income of $189,710 or less.
