Claims Examiners co-located with US Department of VA Regional Office in Bay Pines, each VA Medical Center and many VA Outpatient Clinics in Florida.  Assistance with claims is free.  Call (727) 319-7400

Burial and Memorial Benefits

Burial and memorial benefits are available for eligible service members, Veterans, reservists, National Guard members, and eligible family members. Service includes interment, headstones and markers, and Presidential memorial certificates. VA operates 128 national cemeteries in the United States and Puerto Rico.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) provides a wide range of benefits including Disability, Education and Training, Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment, Home Loan Guaranty, Dependent and Survivor Benefits, Medical Treatment, Life Insurance and Burial Benefits. Eligibility for most VA benefits is based upon discharge from active military service under other than dishonorable conditions. If you are a returning service member (OEF/OIF), you may be eligible for special benefits.
